Constitutional Rights

The Constitution protects many of our most fundamental human rights, including free speech, religious liberty, due process, and equal protection under the law. The 14th Amendment in particular affirms that no state may deny any person equal protection or deprive them of life, liberty, or property without due process. Defending constitutional rights means ensuring government power remains limited while protecting the freedoms and dignity of every Hoosier.
